Coach Anise Foreman joins the Rolling Valley Dolphins Swim Team as the new Head Coach, bringing more than a decade of coaching, youth development, and aquatic leadership experience. She is known for blending strong technical instruction with a warm, athlete‐centered approach that helps swimmers build confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the sport.
Anise’s roots in competitive swimming run deep. She grew up in the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL), competing for Forest Hollow from ages 12 to 18. She also excelled as a high school swimmer, setting records and earning recognition across the county. She later continued her swimming career at Bowling Green State University, where she both swam for the program and served as the Swim Team Manager, gaining hands‐on experience in Division I team operations, training environments, and athlete support.
Her coaching background is equally strong. Anise previously served as the Head Coach of a Division A, team in the Prince‐Mont Swim League (PMSL) in Maryland, where she led athletes to competitive success while fostering a positive, family‐oriented team culture. During her tenure the team claimed the PMSL Championship title on consecutive years. Returning to NVSL now as a coach is a full‐circle moment she’s truly excited about.
In addition to her summer league experience, Anise is the Head Coach of Elite Rays Swim Club and the Founder of SwimTruth, two organizations dedicated to expanding access to trauma‐informed aquatic programming and holistic youth wellness. She has coached swimmers from learn‐to‐swim through championship‐level competition, consistently helping athletes strengthen their fundamentals, improve race strategy, and grow in resilience both in and out of the pool.
Her coaching philosophy centers on positive team culture, clear communication, and meeting each swimmer where they are. Anise is passionate about creating an environment where every athlete feels supported, challenged, and celebrated for their progress.
Beyond the pool deck, she has led large‐scale youth programs, coordinated multi‐site training operations, and built partnerships that bring new opportunities to families and communities. Her leadership is rooted in joy, purpose, and the belief that swimming can transform lives.
Coach Anise is thrilled to return to NVSL and looks forward to a season filled with growth, teamwork, and fun.

Coach Landen joins the Rolling Valley Dolphins Swim Team as one of the Assistant Coaches, bringing a natural enthusiasm for the sport and a genuine connection to the program he grew up in. A current junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, his journey from Dolphins swimmer to Dolphins coach says everything about his commitment to the sport and his passion for coaching and youth development.
Landen’s roots with the Dolphins run deep. He first joined the Rolling Valley Dolphins at age 8, developing his love for the water right here in the same program he now helps lead. He went on to pursue competitive swimming at a higher level with Machine Aquatics, where he continues to sharpen his technique, race strategy, and competitive mindset.
His coaching journey began early. Landen spent three years coaching the Pups, building foundational swim skills in the youngest members of the team with patience and encouragement. Last season, he stepped into a Junior Coach role, further developing his ability to lead, communicate, and connect with athletes across age groups.
Landen’s story is truly full circle. Having grown up a Dolphin, he brings firsthand understanding of what this team means to its swimmers and families. He is eager to give back to the program that helped shape him and looks forward to a season full of growth, energy, and team spirit.

Coach Courtney joins the Rolling Valley Dolphins Swim Team as one of the Junior Coaches, bringing contagious team spirit and inclusion for all. Courtney is known for being passionate about developing young swimmers and instilling a love for swimming for all age levels, while also encouraging accountability and strong technique.
Courtney first began her swimming journey at 5 years old and joined RV at 10. Growing up, she always looked up to the junior coaches, which helped create a life long passion for swimming. She is determined to pass on this love, and be the same positive role model that she experienced. Courtney has been a pups coach for the past 3 years and has coached private swim lessons for 3+ years, building foundational skills and confidence in the water. She also assisted in coaching the older age-groups: helping in running practices, meets, and motivating swimmers to drop time and improve technique. She is currently a junior at West Springfield High School, where she swims for the high school varsity swim team, and plays varsity lacrosse in the spring, teaching her discipline, commitment, and teamwork. Courtney is excited to share her enthusiasm for swimming and looks forward to an amazing summer full of personal bests, team spirit, and FUN!
Coach Charlotte is so excited to be a junior coach for the Dolphins this season! She has been swimming on the team since she was five years old, and being part of this community has been a major part of her life, as her family has been involved with the Dolphins since she was born.
Some of Charlotte's favorite accomplishments include breaking a 40-year-old freestyle record and stepping in as a coach for the Pups last summer. She is also heading into her second summer as a lifeguard, an experience that has helped her build responsibility and confidence both in and out of the water. Currently a junior at West Springfield High School, she also competes on the high school swim team.
What Charlotte loves most about the Dolphins is the amazing kids and families that make the team so special. Having always looked up to her older siblings and her own coaches growing up, she is inspired to give back by helping younger swimmers grow. She is especially passionate about helping kids discover their love for the sport and encouraging them to stick with it.
