Hi Dolphin Families!

First, I want to apologize for the slightly bumpy start to our first week of morning practices. We ran into some unexpected issues getting into the pump room, but I’m happy to report that the situation has been completely resolved. A huge thank you goes out to our very own Mike Loos for stepping up and getting extra copies of the pump room key made for us! We truly appreciate your help, Mike.

Speaking of the pump room—please join me in sending a congratulations to Coach Anise! She is officially certified with her pool operator license, and we are so proud of her hard work to keep things running smoothly.

We have a busy and fun rest of the week ahead, so here are a few quick reminders:

• 🐘Tonight (Wednesday): Don't forget that tonight is our White Elephant Cap Exchange! Bring a swim cap, get a number, play the game, and come home with a fun new cap to add to your collection.
• 🎨Friday Night: Get ready for Chalk the Walk and Paint Wars! Please send your kids in clothes that can absolutely get ruined. When we chalk the walk, our goal is to welcome our guest pool for this week's A-meet, while also letting them know that this is our house! 😉
• 🍌Saturday Meet Theme: The theme for Saturday is Minions! The NVSL is holding a contest for the most spirited, on-theme team, so let’s bring our absolute best energy and make the front page. BANANA! 🍌

New Event Added to the Schedule: Finally, I want to apologize for missing this one initially, but I have just added another event to our team calendar. A week from today, on Wednesday, July 1st, we will be participating in Rally in the Alley at Orange Hunt.

This is a fantastic, fast-paced, and fun meet designed specifically for our 12-and-under swimmers to get great experience in relay events before the divisional relay carnival the following week. To keep the environment relaxed and fun, there will be no stroke-and-turn judges and no relay take-off judges—this is purely about enjoying the sport and getting together with our neighboring pools.

There will even be a coaches' relay (get ready to cheer! 🎉) and a unique opportunity for kids to form mixed teams with swimmers from other pools for a $5 fee.

Because of the relaxed format, we will only need a handful of parent volunteers to help out. The job sign-ups are officially open on the schedule now, so please grab a spot if you can.

Thank you all for your flexibility, support, and team spirit as we kick off this amazing season!

Go Dolphins!

Best,

Avi
