Now that the splash of Divisionals and the celebration at the Banquet have settled, we wanted to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to our amazing Rolling Valley family.

First and foremost, a huge shout-out to our incredible volunteers. Almost every single family hit their 10 volunteer points early in the season, and yet you still showed up in full force to make sure Divisionals was a resounding success. A swim season simply doesn't happen without the parents behind the scenes, and you all crushed it.

As our first year running the team, Kerri, Stephanie, and I couldn't have asked for a smoother ride. Sure, things weren't 100% perfect and we definitely picked up some small tweaks to make for next year, but ending the season as Division Champions AND taking home the Sportsmanship Award far exceeded anything we could have imagined!

We also want to give a massive shout-out to our new head coach, Anise. She brought incredible energy, skill, and positivity to our pool deck this summer. We are looking forward to being able to bring her back to continue to build on the foundation that was built this summer. 💙

Missed the Banquet? If you weren't able to make it to the end-of-year banquet, we have your swimmer's final recognition awards ready! Please reach out to let us know when we can get those to you or your swimmer.

The Season Isn't Quite Over Yet!

While main swim events are wrapped up, we still have a few exciting things on the horizon:

• NVSL All-Stars: Huge congratulations to Matthew Spans, Nouh Polutta, Brady Van Buskirk, and Tristan Curb for representing Rolling Valley at All-Stars! They earned spots among the top 18 swimmers in the entire NVSL for their age groups based on Divisional times. A big shout-out as well to Landen Matis, who also qualified for All-Stars! Landen will be heading to Florida to compete at ISCA with Ryven this weekend instead of swimming at All-Stars. We'll be cheering all of them on from afar and watching for those team records to drop!
• End-of-Season Parent Meeting & Pool Morning: We plan to hold a quick parent meeting soon to share some behind-the-scenes insight into running the team this year and hear your feedback for the future. We're hoping to pair this with a fast volunteer task (restringing our lane lines) while letting the kids enjoy one last fun morning at the pool before normal hours.
• Winter Swim & Off-Season Fun: We are already working on winter swim programs to keep our Dolphins in the water during the off-season, along with a few fun social activities to get the team together over the colder months. More details will come in August once we finalize our contract with the rec center!

Keep an eye out for details on that final pool morning soon... but first, vacation! ☀️🏖️

Thank you all for an unforgettable season. Go Dolphins!
